Summer Program 2013
Our summer program is for children ages 3.5 – 7 and meets Tues-Thurs from 9am-1pm.
Solstice Sun June 18-20 Registration fee: $95
Join us as we welcome the first days of summer and the season of the sun. We will sing and dance together in circle time, celebrating the arrival of summer and all things sunny and hot. We will play outside under the sun; making sun prints, sun pancakes, and sun tea. We will also make bubbles and bubble wands and watch as the sun reflects off our bubbles as they dance around the schoolyard.
Under the Sea July 16-18 Registration fee: $95
Come play with us as we explore water, the ocean, and the magical world under the sea. We’ll incorporate a lot of water play into our day and will create an “ocean” together in the schoolyard. We will build walnut boats to sail on the ocean; make fish finger puppets and learn fishy finger plays; and hear stories of mermaids and mermen. We’ll have a water and magic filled week!
Let it Grow ! August 6-8 Registration fee: $95
This camp will be focused on the bounty of the earth. We will celebrate the harvest from seed to table in circle time and hear a funny story of a vegetable that grew too big. Children will work and play in the garden, making snacks with fresh, organic fruits and veggies. Each child will also make a small window garden to bring home and watch grow.
