Storytime in the Schoolhouse

Enjoy this month's free episode of Storytime in the Schoolhouse.

This month we share with you a Grandpa Ivy story and a field trip to visit the ancient cliff dwellings of Bandelier National Monument.

Buster Bear Goes Fishing

It’s a full moon night and Grandpa Ivy goes outside to admire his garden in the moonlight. While outside he hears a musical sound coming from his tulips and finds a baby fairy crying inside. He realizes the fairy mama must be doing important full moon work and has left her baby here in his garden while she is away. Grandpa Ivy sings while the breeze gently blows the tulip and rocks the fairy baby to sleep. She sleeps happily until her mother returns for her. Grandpa Ivy’s heart is full knowing the fairy trusted him and the safety of his garden for her wee fairy babe.

Each Wednesday Storytime families go on a field trip. The first Wednesday of the month, Ms. Becca takes us on an adventure into the natural world. This week we go with her to Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico and explore ancient pueblo cliff dwellings.
