The Mitten | A wintertime puppet show for early childhood
In this video from Storytime in the Schoolhouse, I share a simple puppet show based on the folk tale The Mitten. Curl up with your preschooler and enjoy this silly story from Miss Becca!
The Full Story
A child loses a mitten in the snow, and the animals of the winter forest climb in one by one.
Read the full story, hear the audio, and find several ways to enjoy it on The Mitten story page.
Make this part of your daily rhythm.
In Storytime, the songs, stories, and crafts follow the rhythm of the seasons... and it's already laid out for you.
Each morning, open the day’s episode and enjoy it with your child. It’s one small moment at the same time each day that's meant to be enjoyed together.
Let that rhythm anchor you, and watch it grow from there with seasonal handwork and afternoon art projects.
