Three Ways to Get Started
Testimonials
"Your stories helped us establish a rhythm (which I hadn't managed to figure out previously!), and our homeschooling journey seems to be thriving for the first time! We have loved connecting during our story times and telling the story together!
Your offerings have been exactly the gentle guidance and love that our family needed!"
~Kaitlyn S.
"Storytime has made connecting to nature, music, storytelling, and family rituals/rhythms feel approachable instead of just something else I should be doing but had no idea how."
~Maggie S.

ANCHORS IN THE STORM
What is an anchor? An anchor grounds us to a place we have intentionally chosen; it keeps us there despite how calm or rough the sea may be. Sure, we may bounce around but we stay in our general location.
"Anchors" in our rhythm are things we do consistently, at an expected time, that we come to rely on.

CREATING RHYTHM/ GETTING STARTED
We hear about rhythm a lot but it remains elusive for some of us. It's tempting to create a Pinterest-worthy rhythm chart and wake up one morning and follow it. Unfortunately, this seldom works and our rhythm doesn't stick. Instead...

WHAT IS RHYTHM?
Rhythm is the flow of your day and week; what happens in what order on what day. Think about a song’s rhythm. It brings the song together; gives it consistency, a returning place, something that ties the whole thing together. Think of your rhythm at home as much the same: the pulse underneath all the activity (or chaos). The goal is for our days and weeks to unfold in a mostly consistent and predictable way...or at least have a few elements that are consistent and predictable.
